Hello everyone, my name is Elisa and I’m a 27 year old illustrator from Chile.
Seeing art and making art are two of my favorite things about being alive. Art helps me keep moving forward.
I studied Visual Arts between 2008 and 2012, but the art school I went to wasn’t really focused on Fine Arts. Because of this, academic drawing is still a big challenge for me. I’ve wanted to learn more about human anatomy, perspective and shading for a long time, since I draw a lot from imagination and I don’t always get these things right.
I think Drawing Academy’s video lessons could help me a lot with that, and also with drawing realistic animals, which is another interest of mine (scientific illustration).

Art is my life
I like drawing very much, but it seems I don’t have time; in fact, it’s not true. I do not have a method to use my time. I need a school!
Time after time, I discover that all I want to do is art, and drawing is the basis to improve my works, to communicate the sense of discovery I had every time. I can easily communicate through drawings, without words.

Self Esteem from your artworks
Hello, I am Antoinette Apondi from Nairobi, Kenya. I am 23 years of age and I am an artist.
Art is very important in my life because it is what I have ever known since I was a child. I can say that art contributes majorly to my self esteem because once I finish a drawing or painting I feel really good about myself. But recently, despite finishing my pieces I do not really feel as good as I used to because I have realized that I depend too much on photo references and I cannot come up with an artwork from memory and even if it was from life, I will really struggle with the proportions and process of developing it.
From the videos on YouTube I know that Drawing Academy could help me out with this problem, because I am starting to feel like I am not a real artist if I continue drawing from photos!

In the name of love
Being only sixteen is a true challenge for most teenage artist, as it is for me sometimes too. I started drawing when I was only seven, I was young of course but the passion for art lived within me since then. I had stopped drawing for a long time until last summer.
Art for me is one of the most important parts of my daily routine and life. Realism though is a style I am taking an interest in recently therefore it appears a little more challenging for now.
In art I would like to learn more about Impressionism and Realism, especially all about Reinassance art and the Old Masters, that’s the reason I was interested in the Drawing Academy in first place.

Sketch of the modern Thinker
Hello!
My name is Tetiana and I am from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
I don’t have academic drawing education and actually I don’t have any art education at all, but I like drawing and painting very much escpecially watercolor paintings and sketches. I want to learn how to do this professionally.
I think that Drawing Academy is a great opportunity for me, because I don’t have time and possibility to attend drawing courses. So the online education is the best variant for me. And I think that Drawing Academy is a very good user friendly educational online resource with professional tutors.

I have a BS degree in music Education and bass trombone performance from Jacksonville State University and studied Art at the University of Alabama where I was awarded a full tuition scholarship my first semester I had solo shows in the Gadsden Museum of Fine At and The Tuscaloosa Council of Fine Art gallery. I am a recovering stroke victim. I had a massive stroke that took away my entire left side I was a professional bass trombone player which ended.
I was also doing art as much as I could but as a result of my stroke I lost the ability to think on a higher level therefore I was at a loss about how to start. My son and wife kept trying to get me to paint and one day I started and a whole new world came back to me, I suddenly remembered color theory and even the names of the brushes.
