Leave no Line behind!

I am a senior citizen who has tried to teach himself art as time allowed in his computer career.

I had a heart attack December 2017 and had to have quadruple bypass surgery so will need a career change as I refuse to retire, perhaps now I can focus 110% on art instead of squeezing it into my life.

I travel as much as I can to study are including Bali, Venice, Rome, Florence, Belgium, England, Germany , Budapest, and Prague, mostly work related so I am always trying to squeeze in Art.

New Reflections On The Old River

By nature, I am a very creative and artistic senior woman who always loved art but never gave it a real chance, before this year. And I hope we all agree that it’s never too late to start anything.

In January, moved by a passion to express myself through colour and form, I chose to embark on a dream project to create a body of artwork in oil paintings, with zero artistic experience. I had a triple advantage: A brilliant 3-month programme on the inner workings of creativity (Creating the Impossible with Michael Neill); time at hand after unfortunately losing my job; and a latent talent I wasn’t even aware I had.

I am a 23 years old mechanical engineering student from Iran.

In the middle school I won a Drawing award in my city.

I think that Drawing Academy is really pretty amazing and I would like to win this course because I need to learn so much in drawing.

I am Prachi Mohanty, student of class 9 studying starting in Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir dharmavihar Bhubaneswar. My father always says that every person in the world as a inherent talent within himself given by the God from the childhood and everybody should try to explore his or her inherent skills to enjoy the life. So he insisted me to have a good practice in drawing and painting because I have also a good level of interest in drawing and painting besides this I have a good ambition to share my knowledge and skill with others who are in this field. Hence I have an ambition to be a good drawing Teacher to enable poor students to be a good at this field.

I am a retired educator who began drawing about 15 years ago by taking courses with my daughter who had just finished college. It was a time for us to bond. When she married and moved away, I continued. I sometimes work in colored pencil, but mainly, if I am not drawing, I also work with pastels, which feels much like a drawing medium.
