Hello everyone!
My name is Marina and I’m eighteen years young.
Making art is like breathing to me and it’s definitely what I was meant to do (next to reciting Shakespeare’s works to my dog).
I’ve always been fairly reserved and if taken outside the comfort of my own room, I can easily become the definition of the word ‘anxiety’ itself.
That’s why I experienced great pleasure when finding out about the Drawing Academy.
My name is Ronnie, I am 19 years old and I live in Kenya.
For me art is deep in my core and I wish to express myself through it. I began with photography but I realized with that I can only go so far, because not everything I see in my mind can be translated fully through it. I have always been inspired by the renaissance masters, especially Leonardo da Vinci, a man whose work has stood the test of time and is still relevant till today. I want to represent my country and show people that anyone can achieve what their put their heart into, no matter their skill level.
I was a 3d graphics programmer for years before getting into any sort of art – I felt that couldn’t draw, and I wanted to program a machine to do it… when I did start drawing, it was almost a natural evolution of my CGI coding knowledge, because I understand how to create realistic images using lighting/etc…
I drew privately for several years before semi-accidentally falling into a niche of animal portraits for charity – my time is donated for custom animal portraits for auctions and misc. events – this allows me to contribute and provides a unique purpose for each piece..

I love art ever since I was a kid. It gives me this feeling of joy each time I come across it. But I have a problem of imagination and drawing skills. I can’t picture a drawing in my head.
I will love to learn and I believe it will help my imagination and my drawing skills.

My name is Cláudia, I am 20 years old, and I wanted to be an artists since I was a child. I draw since I was able to hold a pen, and nowadays I can’t live without art, it’s impossible even to think about it. And I dream and work everyday to become a full time artist.
I was born and raised in NYC (Bronx, NY), I now live in a small town near Albany, New York.
I have been drawing since before I could write my name, but I never pursued art as a career. For almost 30 years I have worked in business administration, my entire adult life. Recently I took the leap to pursue a career in art, but I have no real formal training, and that limits my creativity greatly. I also feel stunted as far as what to create, what to sell, etc… Urgh!

My name is Radosveta, I’m from Bulgaria. I am creative and a mother of two loud boys. Once upon a time I worked in an office but now I am sharing my love of art with the people – also lovers of art. I adore all sorts of art but my main medium is oil on canvas.
I love nature in its many manifestations. My family owns lands of lavender and sage. I often spend my free time in the countryside around their farm. I am inspired by what I see there. This is how I create my landscapes of grass, meadows, lilacs and lilies, of seas of wheat and orchards of trees.
I also love to travel and explore different destinations around the world. My paint brush is my constant companion. It helps me to capture and recreate my travels. You can see some of them in my paintings.
