Marina Olivera Sangers
Learning never exhausts the mind
Hello everyone!
My name is Marina and I’m eighteen years young.
Making art is like breathing to me and it’s definitely what I was meant to do (next to reciting Shakespeare’s works to my dog).
I’ve always been fairly reserved and if taken outside the comfort of my own room, I can easily become the definition of the word ‘anxiety’ itself.
That’s why I experienced great pleasure when finding out about the Drawing Academy.
Learning exactly what I want, whilst being at home? A dream come true.
I’m currently known for drawing abstract, but deep down I genuinely want to acquire the knowledge of the Old Masters. I find portraits and figure drawings very interesting, since they provide a glimpse of reality containing emotions shaped by the soul.
I aspire to be able to draw like Leonardo da Vinci did in his time. How he created such aesthetically pleasing works of art and captured movement on paper with his sketches, is just utterly mesmerizing. I’d love to gain more confidence when it comes to drawing people and it feels like the Drawing Academy is the right place for me to learn about human proportions and the use of shadows, which are essential for making a drawing speak to the viewer.
Feel free to vote for me, my heart would overflow with gratitude.
Either way, have a nice day!
Marina
