My name is Mina and I’m doing painting and drawing since 2000. I graduated from Visual Art department. I am working every day (normally).
The challenge I face these days is finding different subjects and finding new techniques.
For learning art, I watch YouTube.
I think Drawing Academy is perfect and interesting place to learn new things in art…
I would like to work with underprivileged young adults who like to draw and paint, using their study and practice of art as a way to help plant in them a feeling of self worth and legitimacy.
If I win a Drawing Academy course, I would like to use your videos as a curriculum for a program of arts education that I can volunteer in offering to underserved areas in my community.
I’ve been painting and drawing since I was very young. I’m passionate about the world around me and curious of it. I love the outdoors and hold a degree in wildlife management. However, my true passion is art. It’s the very air I breathe and an integral part of who I am. If unable to work on my art I feel as though I’m at full stop, but as long as I at least have a sketch pad and pencil the world seems more right, even in it’s darkest moments.
I challenge most with background details and always have, I like the foreground more I think. The foreground is the part that really hits you in the face, but I also love a paintings or drawings that contain, not necessarily fine detail but intriguing detail throughout the background as well. And scale can be tricky depending on the subject matter.
I am a 9th grader in honors and drawing is my hobby since I can remember.
Art is my gift in life and my goal is to major in art in college.
My challenges is painting, but I want to learn how and also to excel in drawing.
I want to win the Drawing Academy course to learn better drawing techniques and to build my portfolio.
I have started learning art in 1999 with Denzil Herring. I believe that if you can’t draw you can’t paint… and I am drawing ever since.
Drawing Academy made me look at fundamental drawing rules and principles and helped to study the subject matter with deeper understanding.
I’m now able to do art I like, compose it myself and give attention to detail and tonal values.
I recommend the Drawing Academy course to all students that want to further their art skills and career.

Hello, my name is Angelos. I am interested to enroll in the Drawing Academy Course with the three monthly installments, but I have the following questions.
1. I have a day job (full time), and I would like to know if I can complete the course, even if it takes me more than three months.
2. As I understand it “Lifetime membership. Free after the 3rd month” means that I can review the lessons as often as I need to complete them.
3. “Personal coaching by Drawing Academy Tutors” – does it mean that I will have it until I finish the course, even if it takes me more than three months?
4. With the completion of the course, will I get my diploma even if it takes me more than three months to finish it?

Please, I need your guidance on how and what to start doing (exercises and steps) to train myself to develop a photographic memory over time as an artist just starting out on the journey – visualizing images and memories and drawing them when I have no model or life reference.
