I am delighted to have found the Drawing Academy course – I have always had a strong interest in art but have not been able to take up any formal training.

Just starting
Since retiring I have been looking for some new things to try. Art & drawing has been on the list.
Initially, I watched some drawing video lessons from one teaching company, which was OK. However, I found the Drawing Academy course much better. Watching someone actually drawing was very helpful. The Appeal of Hatching
The main attraction for me about enrolling with the Drawing Academy is because of the old master techniques that are taught, which cannot be found in any mainstream art school. My drawing skills were quite good before I enrolled with the Drawing Academy and most of my shading, especially with graphite pencil, was rendered by smudging to obtain smooth tones, which was my main fall-down.
