Drawing (and painting) was, like in the case with many folks, my number one priority in childhood and it did not leave me. My art teacher wanted me to attend the academy. However, somehow I ended up with different careers. So when I finally came to my “senses” in the true sense, I found myself to be a rather poorly equipped in my knowledge of art craftsmanship.
I was very glad to have found both the Web Art Academy as well as the Drawing Academy.
I have been drawing and painting for many years, but my work was based on copying from photos. I always knew that it should be a better way to create my own art, yet my drawing skills were not good enough to draw from life or imagination. It was taking me a lot of time to find a photo to draw from, and it was never the image I was looking for. Since retiring I have been looking for some new things to try. Art & drawing has been on the list.
Initially, I watched some drawing video lessons from one teaching company, which was OK. However, I found the Drawing Academy course much better. Watching someone actually drawing was very helpful.
