I am a health care professional in NHS and an amateur artist.
Art is not mere a leisure activity for me but helps me to de stress myself, in other words art is healing for me in my daily struggle.
9 years ago I graduated from an art college. I was extremely excited and was looking to accomplish my dream of becoming a professional artist.
Today I am a full time artist with a successful art studio. I also teach private lessons to selected clients on one-on-one basis. Through the years I have motivated young artist to never stop studying art. We can never say we know it all. It also so happens that lots of my students enrolled at universities and competed their master degrees in art. I am still their own private tutor that will always play a role in their lives.
I am 82 years old retired university professor. About 3 years ago I started painting, with no previous experience. I am still straggling.
I discovered my love for art at a very young age and has been drawing and sketching regularly since then. It has helped me to be more conscious and understanding of my surroundings.
I am a humble artist from Brazil, I like to draw comics, cartoons, happy and colorful stuff, and I love oil painting! I just like to make the world a beautiful place, one painting at a time. Art is a way to tell something to the world through my eyes, a way to say “Hey, this is how I this thing would look if it had more colors!”. I just love art, man.
I am a self-taught artist even though I taught art in the High School for a number of years. I was just told guess what you are the Art teacher now!
My name is Christopher Pam I am from Nigeria. Ever since I was six I began to pick up my pencil to draw. That was when art first called me. Art is my life it’s everything to me and I want to be great at it.
I believe I have potential and that the Drawing Academy can unleash the artistic genius in me, with the classical techniques of the great old masters.
My name is Ute and I am from Germany. I have been drawing and photographing for a long time now, on and off. I also trained as a kind of camera and editing assistant for TV and played around with 3D-Programs a bit.
But I am seriously lacking in life drawing skills and everything concerning colored work. I never had real training in drawing or painting, just some books and youtube over the last years. Everything I did so far was using photographs and grids. But this reaches its limits pretty soon.
I would like to study the underlying theory of sizing, anatomy, painting techniques, brushwork and so on, the basics. I then can maybe start to develop my own style instead of just trying to copy photographs.
My name is Masoom. I’m an introvert by nature. I developed keen interest in art since childhood. It is a source of expressing my inner self and communicating with the world. Hence its place is significant and vital in my life.
