I really liked trying to get the textures and shapes correctly drawn for this setup. The sticks in the bird nest were a challenge in contrast to the pot.

I would like to say big thank you to the Drawing Academy art tutors, who made this online course available for students like me. I have learned so much about how to draw human figures and portraits since enrolling in this course. This is a great course and my dream come true to learn good drawing techniques without taking some expensive art college.
I personally see Drawing Academy as the must-have course those who want to improve their drawing skills.
Hi, my name is Paulo. I live in brazil.
Art always reminds me that life is not just the chaos and suffering that we are often immersed in.
I am an amateur artist. I’ve been into art for as long as I can remember. There wasn’t a time that I existed without art in my life. Challenges faced in this field are that, there isn’t enough money to live on until you are well established. I’m still struggling with it but I can say that I am happy.
I don’t even know where to start. I’m a simple 16-year-old French teenager of Russian origin, and that’s the problem. Being dependent on my parents who hate seeing me draw, it is impossible for me to buy this wonderful training. I am the only one in my family who has been passionate about drawing and art in general since my childhood. Why would you tell me?
In this drawing I tried to choose a still life that would challenge my skills with perspective.
I already discovered some improvement I need to make when I reviewed your video lessons.
I started drawing in my childhood, but I never was brave enough to become a full-time artist because I am scared.
My challenge in drawing is not that I can’t draw, but I want something else, much more than just making artworks. I want to convey my passion and vision with others. I want to be able to express my feelings and thoughts through my work.
Hi, I’m Mithilesh from India. I am an unemployed engineering graduate finding passion in art. Clearly it was never a career choice for me because I was always passionate towards art. I was first fascinated by art when I was a kid watching cartoons and wondered how these cartoons were made so expressively with emotions. Gradually I started drawing cartoon characters and slowly developed observational drawing yet I realized I lack a lot in anatomy and drawing characters from life, I lacked perfection with textures and shading techniques.
I love art! have loved it since I was a child, when I used to look through my parents books on artists like Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet and Manet.
I tried to copy some of these art works, but I felt there was something wrong with just copying even though I learned something from it. It did teach me an appreciation for art though that has never left me. Some kids would much rather play video games than go to an art gallery, but not me.
