I am from Greece. I graduated from Anatolia College American High School. Then studied at the Department of Tourism Management in Technological Institute of Thessaloniki. The last 25 years working in tourism and specifically as a manager at small hotels in Chalkidiki. This job gives me the opportunity to be close to my great favorite – the sea. The sea with perpetual motion of the endless blue was the source of my inspiration.

I am a self taught artist living in Thessaloniki Greece. My true passion has always been painting and creating. Mostly I am painting original oil and acrylic paintings on stretched canvas and on old wood pieces or driftwood. I am working with mixed technique using palette knives and brushes.

At this time art has a very important place in my life. I am fully occupied creating my artworks. I am also a member of several art websites, where I have my works available for sale.

From 2015 till 2020 I have participation in several group exhibitions with my cooperation with Malou Art Gallery in Athens Greece. Also recently I have started cooperation with Gallery Gaudi in Madrid Spain.

Although I am a self taught artist, at this point I am trying to have some education in art, which I believe will help me a lot to evolve myself as an artist. I found in Internet a great source of knowledge. Already finished successfully three courses related with Modern art , Abstract and Contemporary art (through Coursera, offered by MoMA).

I found Drawing Academy during my search in Internet. I watched few videos with free lessons and I was excited. I understood that it was a serious website and it would be a great opportunity for me to receive some basic and very important art education.

When I saw the art competition, I thought immediately that it would be a great idea to participate,. Why not ? A great opportunity for me to learn principles of constructive realistic drawing, to use perspective in drawing, to learn unique, creative drawing techniques. And the most important I will be taught by professional fine artists and teachers.

From the first moment that I visited Drawing Academy, I thought, yes! This will be perfect for me. And when I noticed about the art competition, I said to myself: I want to to win this course, because I believe I will learn the knowledge that will take me forward to develop my art in a more professional way.

I will participate with an old drawing of mine “Study 22”, charcoal on paper, size: 70 x 50 cm.
