Hello, I am Abdel-Wahab. I study mechanical engineering, because of my family’s pressures and their dissatisfaction with my desire to study art.

Art is a child’s dream, and it began when I asked myself at one point whether it was possible for Michelangelo or Da Vinci to happen again in this life. Is there a person who lives now on that earth or will he come another day who will be like him or make him understand greatness and beauty? The answer was, why shouldn’t I?

This competition is a very good opportunity for me to receive continuous support and to respond to the inquiries that I have many of them regarding painting and because all methods of studying art have been closed in the country in which I live because I am classified as an engineer and I do not have the right to study art in it in any form. It is a great opportunity, but it is certainly not the last.
