Born in Sri Lanka I never had the opportunity to learn Art in school except during our normal Artclass. I lived to draw and paint as a child and won a few art competitions outside. My teachers in school encouraged my father to send me to private art classes but this never happened and I never did Art after grade 8 but chose a different subject.
