Hello I am Carlos; I’m Salvadoran and currently live in Buenos Aires Argentina I moved here 5 years ago to go to film school. My university has very historical approach to film and it is studied taking into account art history and the impact that cinema had on the early 20th century.
I was learning how to draw a two point perspective.
I am a retired school teacher, with 27 years as a classroom teacher. I always look for new ideas for my art. I enjoy doing life drawing. I convert my drawings into watercolors.
Hi. I am an RF Engineer by profession. Art is my happy place. It’s where I feel most at home. I am having a hard time balancing a full time career and making sure I still hold on to the ONE thing that makes me happy. I used to draw a lot as a kid, but rekindled the passion again in recent times.
I loved drawing as a kid but that was short-lived as circumstances in life stopped me to pursue my happiness (art) until now.
Before taking the Drawing Academy course I had a notion about some art techniques: faces proportions, shading, hatching, etc. But I was not able to use them well or to understand the proper order of applying them.
This course helped me to perfect my skills and to draw things faster. I found really useful the proportions of faces, and the order to go from the big parts to the smaller details. The different perspectives, the skills of using a pencil – all helped me a lot.
My name is Carmen Wong. I live in Toronto Canada. Art has always been my greatest passion. Growing up in the late 70’s, with middle class working parents, my biggest hobby was watching television after school.
I am an art student and aspire to improve my skills. I had developed interest in realistic drawing from a very young age. I got guidance from my mother who is herself a good artist. Drawing is like an open window to me through which I could get some fresh air and plenty of joy. I like working with Charcoal and pencil shading, pencil colours , watercolour, and soft pastels. Art gives me immense pleasure as well as satisfaction.

My name is Sonam Kumari, pursuing BFA from AMU(Aligarh Muslim University). Art field means a lot for me that’s why I left science stream to pursue this course. I faced lot of problems and constraints to came in this vast field of Art. It pleases me in my problems and give me strength to do better and better, its works for me like a medicine.
