I am an art student and aspire to improve my skills. I had developed interest in realistic drawing from a very young age. I got guidance from my mother who is herself a good artist. Drawing is like an open window to me through which I could get some fresh air and plenty of joy. I like working with Charcoal and pencil shading, pencil colours , watercolour, and soft pastels. Art gives me immense pleasure as well as satisfaction.

Since I have retired I am painting and want to get serious about getting better. I know in my drawing and my painting my middle value transitions are weak.
My name is Esero Nalyong AKA Son Pencils, a self taught male artist based in Uganda (East Africa), mostly majoring in portraits using charcoal and graphites on paper. I also do wall murals using mostly aerosol and emulsion.
