In my drawing I focused on shading and on round and oval shapes. It depicts citrus fruits, a pot and a cup on a table with a white table cloth in folds. In the background hangs a piece of grey cloth.

Your web site is very informative …. well done. I usually paint in oils and would like to progress. I know my drawing skills are not to the level that makes me confident. So I am thinking seriously about joining the course. The oil painting will have to wait until the drawing skills are confidently secured.
Several questions…
I’m a self-taught artist. I’ve always dreamed to be an artist but none in my family truly see it unless my twin sister and now my fiance.
Art is now at the first place in my life because I left all my works to follow what my heart desires most.
I started to paint with oils 5 months ago and literally felt deeply in love, I’ve always used charcoal pencils but oils blown my mind!
I attend two live model workshops each week. When not drawing from life, I draw from photographs and from the masters.
How can I apply what I learn about anatomy to my life drawing work?

My name is Radosveta, I’m from Bulgaria. I am creative and a mother of two loud boys. Once upon a time I worked in an office but now I am sharing my love of art with the people – also lovers of art. I adore all sorts of art but my main medium is oil on canvas.
I love nature in its many manifestations. My family owns lands of lavender and sage. I often spend my free time in the countryside around their farm. I am inspired by what I see there. This is how I create my landscapes of grass, meadows, lilacs and lilies, of seas of wheat and orchards of trees.
I also love to travel and explore different destinations around the world. My paint brush is my constant companion. It helps me to capture and recreate my travels. You can see some of them in my paintings.

First I have to thank you for this wonderful website, I’m very glad that I’m a member here.
As a college student, I don’t have as much free time to draw as I wished I had, so it is great to have a life-time Drawing Academy membership.
Currently I am working on drawings of geometrical objects. I would like to ask for your suggestions, for I want to improve my skills and technique. These are still life compositions made from life, the same objects from different angles. The first one is a linear drawing of the objects and their reflections on a shiny surface, with a window behind and above. The other drawing is rendered, the lamp was set left and above the objects.
I am a graphic artist, tied to my mac most days and nights. I dream of a home studio perfectly organized where I can simply learn new techniques and create beautiful pieces of art based solely on what I envision.
My challenge is time and finances…no lack of vision here! I enjoy watching other artists perform and have spent hours online doing just that.
I feel that the Drawing Academy will provide structured training that will allow me to refine my God given talent and since I’ve decided to endeavor the masters course it would be wise to also hewn my drawing skills!

Hi, My name is Don and have recently retired after 25 years working as a Motor Mechanic and then in the Recreational Turf Industry with a local Council for a further 25 years.
I have always loved drawing but due to work and family constraints my love of art was placed on the back burner, but now with time to spare my interest in art has been rekindled. My main medium is Graphite and I enjoy drawing Portraits as well as full body life drawings. I draw from photos that I source from the internet as like the one I am submitting…
