Drawing Academy course has changed my artistic world!
I have started learning art in 1999 with Denzil Herring. I believe that if you can’t draw you can’t paint… and I am drawing ever since.
Drawing Academy made me look at fundamental drawing rules and principles and helped to study the subject matter with deeper understanding.
I’m now able to do art I like, compose it myself and give attention to detail and tonal values.
I recommend the Drawing Academy course to all students that want to further their art skills and career.
I am an art tutor for more than 10 years and I learned a lot from Drawing Academy.

I received the full Drawing Academy course in November 2017 and since then I have been learning various techniques and principles from this course video lessons and also practicing whenever possible.

Feelings and emotions expressed through art
Hi
I painted this painting before I started the Drawing Academy course, I was supposed to draw and paint a candle, apple, and square. I was so focused on something else that I got a completely different result from the painting. I think this is a good example of expressing thoughts and emotions through art.

HI,
This is Dipali Deshpande from Gurgaon, India and I’m feeling proud to say that I am a Drawing Academy student.
I started painting as a hobby in 2011, but used to feel scared when it comes to drawing. I was trying to learn to draw by watching YouTube videos and reading books. It did not work for me. I gave a try to some local institutes, but they focus on modern Indian art, which wasn’t my thing.

I did this drawing in charcoal on primed canvas for oil practice. Composed still life with fruits and some light adjustment.

Ruins of Firoz Shah Kotla
During summer break I visited ‘Firoz shah Kotla’ which is one of the 7 ancient cities of Delhi. There I did some instant rough sketches on paper followed by drawing on canvas. After that I completed brown underpainting.

Now I see a future
Hi,
Before I enrolled in this course, I designed, but I did not know the anatomy for artists because I had not studied it. I used the grid method.
When searching the Internet for new techniques, I found Drawing Academy and I immediately realized that it would be the best choice for me.
I learned how to draw the right way. After that, I participated in some contemporary exhibitions using what I’ve learned from this course, creating works of art and I had tremendous satisfaction.
Drawing means everything for me. I hope with all my heart to become a full-time artist one day…

I always loved drawing but I never had the proper techniques to learn to master it. Every time I draw I know my drawing is filled with mistakes but I don’t know how to fix them. That is when I decided to look for a guidance from scratch. Gladly I came upon Drawing Academy and I immediately signed up.
It was enlightening, it gave everything I need step by step. I learned how to master classical art with the pencil, to measure the light and shadows and how draw from real life.
