“I took a workshop from an artist who was showing her artwork in Italy and was concerned she did not know how to draw well. At first I concluded that if she could get her work shown in Italy without being accomplished at drawing I could become an artist without knowing this skill. I later realised my lack of knowledge and skill was holding me back from developing my art to the levels at which I wish to be able to create. It would be great to win the Drawing Academy course because I would be able to study drawing at home and hopefully make my dream true!”
