I applied what I’ve learned in lesson Four of the Drawing Academy course

I drew this from life. This drawing opened up a whole new level of understanding of contours, rendering, measuring techniques, perspective (particularly ellipses) for me. Whether it’s a simple sketch, indicating where the light is coming from and contours with simple hatching or revealing the full tonal values or rendering details, all seem to be fun and interesting!
