My name is Siting, currently living in Quebec, Canada. As many other people here, I am that kind of person loves art but never has the opportunity to go to art school. My parents were very practical when they came to choose my major. Go to a normal high school & university, instead of any art school. Perhaps for them, art is not as “useful” as other subjects; plus, art school is really expensive and we cannot afford it. I am not a person loves to compromise and I don’t want to live in a way I find nothing fun. However, finally I gave up the opportunity of art school because I won’t put my family into risks.

Nevertheless, I always wish I would one day become an artist, even part-time. That’s why I am so excited when I find this website…

My Hobby

Drawing Academy is an excellent course, which can provide all the drawing basics and make someone learn from bottom to top.

Sono una signora di 61 anni, da molto tempo disegno e dipingo ad olio e acquerello ma una tecnica vera e propria non la ho, sono un autodidatta e mi rendo conto che ho molte lacune , anzi troppe e desidero migliorare anche se penso che avrei dovuto decidermi molto tempo fa ad iscrivermi a dei corsi come drawing academy, sto studiando anche la lingua Inglese per poter comprendere di più, in passato ho studiato su libri, ma è molto duro capire e d eseguire senza poter vedere dal vivo l’esecuzione della prospettiva lineare e ancor di più aerea e del colore, le proporzioni. Sono molto attratta dai lavori degli antichi maestri, e spesso mi demoralizzo e penso che sono una nullità guardando i loro lavori…

Hello,

I am very interested in your courses (both the drawing and oil painting) I would love to start with the drawing course first.

My question is this, if I make a one-time payment to cover the full Drawing course, am I required to finish the course exactly in 3 months time? Or am I allowed to go longer if I need the time?

Another question was how the students artwork is reviewed by the instructor, would I just scan and upload the work via email I assume? Take a picture and send as an attachment?

Also, how much daily time should be devoted to the drawing course ideally?

Your courses have received wonderful reviews from around the web, and I love the fact that you truly offer a Fine Arts education in the traditional way as the great painters through history worked (a dying art in itself I think!) …
