My name is CJ and like many, art stirs my heart and has since I was a child. I’ve been blessed with a gift in art, and try at every chance to bless others through it. Over the years, my art has brought many people excitement and joy through gifts and portraits. My goal is to spread an appreciation for art, and through it, keep strong the gratitude for those who serve their country.
This graphite drawing was done for a friend, patriot, and hero of mine. His family cherishes this piece and it was one of my greatest joys to see it proudly hanging on their home wall. Through the Drawing Academy Course and it’s resources, I want to strive for excellence and use my skills to uplift fine art and the beauty it can bring to this world (and those it)! …
I paint for my pleasure, have tried many mediums but love acrylics, pencil. I am retired and in my 80’s and have many paintings but have never
tried to sell them. I paint for enjoyment and to keep my mind busy.
Winning is not as important as knowing that people will appreciate my work…
Before the Drawing Academy course, I was drawing and painting what I SEE. The reason why I took this drawing course is because I wanted to learn how to draw what I KNOW.
For example, buildings in this pre-course painting (Santorini Greece) have different angles and look unbalanced. So, I decided to learn fundamental principles of drawing to improve my skills.
Now I understand well 1-point, 2-point and 3-point perspective. I can better judge angles and distances, which is important.
I also learnt more about human anatomy and what lies beneath the skin. This knowledge helps me to draw with the knowledge and confidence.
I really appreciate the step-by-step teaching Drawing Academy lessons provide…
I was a self-taught artist before enrolling in the Drawing Academy; I got stuck and was looking for the right way to learn drawing.
I really wanted to know how to draw portraits with correct proportions and decided to join this course.
After enrolling, I found out immediately that what I was missing is the basic process. The Drawing Academy helped me to learn the fundamental principles of drawing, which are very important and I improved my drawing skills better and faster.
There is the right way to learn drawing and Drawing Academy is the best solution…
I love to draw and paint.
Drawing Academy is an awesome place to learn about art.
I want to win to learn more about traditional drawing techniques. I am trying to find my own personal way. I have been reading art books and watching YouTube videos and now I want to learn how to draw properly from Drawing Academy video lessons. This course would be invaluable to me. Winning the drawing course membership will be a victory for me…
Dear Vladimir and Natalie,
I want to say firstly thank you so much for your amazing drawing course. Before I joined up with your drawing academy, I used to just go straight into a painting with oils without really thinking!
Now thanks to you, I am first sketching out my composition. So I thought I would send you my first composition drawing “African Queen”, this drawing started out as a rough drawing with an aim to just use is as reference for my painting, and now you have shown me new skills and a different approach to my work…
Hey, I am Debahuti Bhattacharya, known as Shree. I’m currently studying Bsc in Animation and Film Making at Zee Institute Of Creative Arts. I don’t have an inborn talent but would like to develop art skills. This is the first time I’m participating in any contest.
Drawing Academy is a great course. I want to enroll in this academy to get a better knowledge about art.
Winning the drawing course will be an honor to an artist like me who just love to draw, but don’t have any knowledge…
My name is Siting, currently living in Quebec, Canada. As many other people here, I am that kind of person loves art but never has the opportunity to go to art school. My parents were very practical when they came to choose my major. Go to a normal high school & university, instead of any art school. Perhaps for them, art is not as “useful” as other subjects; plus, art school is really expensive and we cannot afford it. I am not a person loves to compromise and I don’t want to live in a way I find nothing fun. However, finally I gave up the opportunity of art school because I won’t put my family into risks.
Nevertheless, I always wish I would one day become an artist, even part-time. That’s why I am so excited when I find this website…
