The Three Graces

I am a mature art student and I attend the local Greek art classes in Corfu. With the help of fellow art students and teachers I have progressed from knowing very little about painting and drawing to a good standard.

It seems that the hidden artist wanted to come out even at this stage in my life. I have always had a strong admiration for beautiful art work and wondered how it could be achieved.

Now I know I can paint beautiful pictures and what pleasure it gives me. I do have a lot of room for improvement so this is why I would like the chance to win the Drawing Academy lessons.

The painting I have to show is of the Three Graces. This was my very first attempt in painting such a difficult subject. I hope you like my choice.

I want to improve my drawing and painting with professional tutors as I am mostly self taught.
