I did this drawing when I was doing a Foundation Course at a small West Midlands Art School. There were about 36 students and we cycled round the departments in about 6 groups. I joined the ‘Illustration’ group because the fine art painting tutor was an abstract expressionist, dismissive about representational painting.
Hi my name is Andres Montilla, I have some self learning knowledge in arts, and I really love the classic style, winning the Drawing Academy course will help me to break my own boundaries and become a more polished artist, as I’ve seen in their presentation video, I agree and follow the purpose of preserving the classic style.

My name is Rummy Tandon and I am an 80 yr old female/mother/grandmother/retired housewife! Painting has always been my hobby, passion from childhood and now a form of meditation! Past few years I have been doing Pet Portraits for our local Children’s Hospital for kids going through cancer treatment, they miss their pets so I paint for them free of charge, if it makes them happy that is my reward.
Winning the Drawing Academy course would give those juice, affordable resources that I’m looking for. I have been watching some videos on YouTube and exploring on the official page, it’s amazing.
