I am D. Sharif Basha from Andhra Pradesh, India. Since my childhood, I am much into drawings. After drawing on my own for several years, one fine day in 2016 I got a chance to meet with some professional artists who were making pencil portraits in a shopping mall in Bangalore. By sitting with them I’d learnt color Portrait drawing for 9 months. It helped me sharpen my coloring techniques with pencils.

I would like to learn to draw before it is too late, i am old and shaky in my hands but still like to learn new things.
I have been drawing from my earliest days and enjoy it immensely. My lifelong passion for drawing and art has never waned, it is integral to my being. I have been lucky to have been given encouragement from family and instructors throughout my life.
I’ve only been drawing for a few years. When my daughter was born, I had the urge to draw things again, which I hadn’t had since I was 13. I taught myself and haven’t had an art lesson since I was at school, around 30 years ago. Everything you see, I’ve worked out from observation, real-life or from making lots of mistakes.
