The house where Karin and Carl Larsson decorated, lived and created their works is named Lilla Hyttnäs, The Little Cottage. It is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Northern Europe and if you are interested in Arts and Crafts, it is a paradise beyond time.

The Policeman's Wife

I did this drawing when I was doing a Foundation Course at a small West Midlands Art School. There were about 36 students and we cycled round the departments in about 6 groups. I joined the ‘Illustration’ group because the fine art painting tutor was an abstract expressionist, dismissive about representational painting.
