I was of course skeptical taking an online art course, but Academy tutors have keep me on course, consistently provided me support, and encouragement at what always seems to be the right moment…

It’s an amazing story about Repin Academic Institute of Fine Arts (former Saint Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts). It was founded in the 18th century and back then French, Italian and German teachers were coming there to teach art. Foreigners don’t teach in this Academy anymore, they study instead.
Few places in the world still teach fine arts the old way, where form is everything…
