Drawing has always been a part of my life and I always knew that I wanted to be an artist. As a kid, I would often copy my favorite cartoon characters in order to learn to draw. Unfortunately I didn’t have anyone who could tell me otherwise or guide me into learning fundamentals or realistic drawing.

Till now I did not realize that I would need to strengthen my roots in order to really make it as an artist. So I started drawing from pictures and observations but the end result is never quite where it should be. And because my drawing skills are so limited, drawing from imagination is just not yet possible for me.

I am currently 17 years old, yes a student, which is why it would be great to win this competition and finally have clear guidance to improve my art skills.

I think that Drawing Academy is one of the only few recourses available online that really focuses on the importance of having drawing skills. The courses offered clearly convey that message. It is also very convenient for people who may not have time for art classes or may not have good art education available at all.

In order to improve my drawing skills and to truly be able to draw whatever I imagine as I imagine so. I believe that the construction of the course really enables students to reach their potential, where at the same time not be intimidated or discouraged.

There are many people out there who deserve this course as much as I do and I don't know what to say that will convince people to vote for me. Drawing is lifelong process and which is why I would like to start right now. I hope people would vote for me based on my work, where I attempted to draw realistically, and see that I do have potential.
