My name is Marcelo I live in Canada and always try to learn from sources I find over the internet over the last 2 years since I started my art journey. I choose a job that gives me time to devote myself to what I love which is art.

What place art takes in your life? It’s my extension. I cannot see myself without thinking of learning ways to translate what I see and feel into drawings and hopefully painting in a brief future.

I’d like to follow a method consistently to achieve my goals on composing and painting but I cant afford any of methods I found that could give me more structure and a way of thinking as I believe I’ll find through here.

I want to improve anatomy, composition through a concise method so I’ll be more secure to go to oil painting with the right foundations well established.

I believe in the Drawing Academy course, I’ll find the methods to build the necessary foundations in drawing, composition and painting required to express my ideas on canvas.

I want to win the the Drawing Academy course to embody the fundamental knowledge to allow me to express my ideas on canvas. I believe that the Academy will inspire and prepare me not just to improve my skills but also to be part of the path created by great practitioners and hopefully inspire more people to do so in the future.

We are all leaving our traces as humans and I hope I can leave some through art when I’m ready. Even if just inspire others to follow and continue this beautiful practice of drawing and painting.
