I used to make a lot of my own art; especially, I like drawing flowers. A while back, I had some instruction in observational drawing, but personal expression and conceptual ideas were more emphasized. I did a lot of drawing from life, and then stopped making art when I got married and had kids. Some time ago I started drawing again, but it was more of an art therapy with less emphasis on skill. Now, I am just a happy person with no big feeling to express so it has been hard to make art the way I used to. The observational approach to drawing is not very helpful or interesting to me, so I want to learn traditional art, constructive drawing, anatomy, perspective and all the techniques that would make my art professional.
