Breaking old habits

Hello,

As a life long artist from my earliest recollection, I have put in the hours after school, through community college, and spare time after work to build mostly a self taught artist life.

I love to draw and challenge myself to be as realistic as I can to Duplicate my subject as close as I can.

There lies the problem that I would like to correct.

My tight commercial renderings are nice and I get a self satisfaction when I finish a piece but I want to be more classical and love the works of the renaissance masters.

I would like to break down my tight style and become more classical.
