Hi, I am Jessline. I take art pretty seriously and I enjoy doing it very much. I wish to learn more about oil painting, correct anatomies, etc.

Currently I’m a just a amateur artist wanting to achieve perfection in art. I thrive to achieve my subject’s resemblance.
I have been fond of painting and drawing as long as I remember. My passion with art has started when I was at the final year of my school. Art was a compulsory subject in school except for the final year. The art teacher at the government school that I have attended did not help in making art as an appealing subject.
I’m a self taught artist and live in Florida.
Painting is an attempt to come to terms with life. Paintings are one of the oldest known human forms of art, I make paintings on canvas with oil. And sometimes acrylics. Used brushes, palette knives, fingers and other tools. I take into consideration.
Art has always been a part of my life, but after discovering Drawing Academy my passion for art grew stronger and I have improved a lot watching their courses.
At the moment art is my main focus in life as I am currently studying full time. I have experienced a kind of isolation. And I am seeking other forms of community engagement and interaction online in order to feed my most positive habit, which is my daily art practice.
My name is Jim.
I’ve been drawing and painting from an early age. I even entered the Famous Artists School, the one on the matchbooks, when I was six years old. I earned my BFA in painting, when I studied life and drawing and painting. I then went to work as a graphic artist. I’m now retired and want to polish the old skills.
Hi, my name is Raga.
I’ve been drawing from a very young age. I made art because it made me and my parents happy and as I grew, I received many compliments and critiques which were really encouraging me to keep on improving. I will be an animator and an illustrator. And my parents supported my decision. I’m taking art seriously and practicing regularly, and learning a lot from other great artists on the internet.
I struggle to get the proportions right from the side view. Can you please give some advice. I especially struggle with the ear placement.
Prior to commencing this exercise I looked at several skulls and facial muscle references, viewed from different angles, to get an idea of what lies under the skin.
At first glance all the diagrams looked the same. Closer inspection revealed quite a lot of differences, which makes sense as every face is unique.
I was so surprised at the third stage when I began to see the face emerge, as I’ve not been able to draw a ‘convincing’ face from my imagination before.
