Still life with guard bowl
Artwork by Steve Smith, Drawing Academy student
Here, deep in the Kentucky foothills of the Appellations, a unique craftsperson turns guards into lovely bowls, adorned with cords of braided pine needles, small beads, and polished stone.
I chose the guard bowl to accompany an old art deco radio, a stein that came from my late fathers collection, and the draped yardage of some lovely lace curtain material, made in Czechoslovakia…

Great Chance
Artwork by Tatiana Sharanutsa
Hello! My name is Tatiana and I live in Ukraine together with my little son.
I am a totally self-taught graphic designer. I have never attended drawing or designers courses. But I like to draw since my childhood.
I realize that I need drawing lessons. I am trying to learn from internet tutorials and some books. But I understand that to be good at drawing it is essential to have a good teacher who can point out my mistakes and give proper advices…
Still Alive
Artwork by Vikas Chandak
Here the artist says that life is an art and that’s what my life is for and he believes the artist is the second god who can create or modify this environment. Art is just not about Drawing or clicking, any unique creativity or any kind of creative work which could be done in any field (music, business, films etc.) is an art. Something beyond the imagination something which has never seen and things which makes us still and speech less is an art…

ART BY SUDHA JAGIRDAR
Artworks by Sudha Jagirdar, Drawing Academy graduate
I always wanted to learn art, however finding a right course wasn’t easy. When I saw the Drawing Academy course few months ago, I recognized its potential and enrolled straight away. I was just a beginner at that time.
In the Drawing Academy, I have learned many aspects of traditional drawing such as perspective, human anatomy, constructive drawing, rendering tonal values and so on.
The direct benefit of this new knowledge is that I feel confident in drawing portraits from life and imagination. This also has helped me in portraying real life through my art which ultimately leads to a higher knowledge of life and education. I have a dream of exhibiting my art in the in the near future…

I’ve done this drawing before the Drawing Academy course. Now, I’m on the second month and I really like it. My drawing skills are becoming better after only two months of study. I will continue…
After a Bath
Artwork by Natalia Kireeva
Since I was little, I was drawing. My first pocket money went on paints and color paper. But later on I got a “normal” non-artistic degree and was not touching pencils for years. My family bought me paints and canvases for my 33rd birthday a year ago, and I felt I got my life back. I like to draw and to paint a real life trying to catch emotion in it…
