I was born and raised in NYC (Bronx, NY), I now live in a small town near Albany, New York.
I have been drawing since before I could write my name, but I never pursued art as a career. For almost 30 years I have worked in business administration, my entire adult life. Recently I took the leap to pursue a career in art, but I have no real formal training, and that limits my creativity greatly. I also feel stunted as far as what to create, what to sell, etc… Urgh!

Your web site is very informative …. well done. I usually paint in oils and would like to progress. I know my drawing skills are not to the level that makes me confident. So I am thinking seriously about joining the course. The oil painting will have to wait until the drawing skills are confidently secured.

I’m a self-taught artist. I’ve always dreamed to be an artist but none in my family truly see it unless my twin sister and now my fiance.
Art is now at the first place in my life because I left all my works to follow what my heart desires most.
I started to paint with oils 5 months ago and literally felt deeply in love, I’ve always used charcoal pencils but oils blown my mind!
I attend two live model workshops each week. When not drawing from life, I draw from photographs and from the masters.
How can I apply what I learn about anatomy to my life drawing work?
