Hello, I’m Ken. I am a young self taught artist. I primarily work in traditional mediums such as pencil and pens. I aspire to become a fine artist after graduating high school. I feel the most challenged when learning color theory, proportions, and anatomy. It’s been quite a struggle finding a video that gives a thorough overview of those topics. I have been researching a lot and came across you on your YouTube channel. I became invested because of your artistic ideals and goals. I think Drawing Academy has built a community of passionate teachers and students. The rigorous coursework is one best suited for me because I want to learn the rules and constructs of becoming a fine artist. I am tired of the same art appreciation courses. Although, I enjoy those courses.
I feel that Drawing Academy will adequately prepare me for the rigorous coursework of college. I want to win this scholarship to improve in art and experience a well taught art course. People should vote for me because I am opened to progression in my art career and passionate about the subject.
