Questions about art courses
Questions from Amy B
Hello,
I am very interested in your courses (both the drawing and oil painting) I would love to start with the drawing course first.
My question is this, if I make a one-time payment to cover the full Drawing course, am I required to finish the course exactly in 3 months time? Or am I allowed to go longer if I need the time?
Another question was how the students artwork is reviewed by the instructor, would I just scan and upload the work via email I assume? Take a picture and send as an attachment?
Also, how much daily time should be devoted to the drawing course ideally?
Your courses have received wonderful reviews from around the web, and I love the fact that you truly offer a Fine Arts education in the traditional way as the great painters through history worked (a dying art in itself I think!)
I just want to make sure I understand the requirements for me as a potential student before I enroll.
Thank you for your time!
Amy B
Drawing Academy Tutors
Dear Amy,
Many thanks for your questions and positive feedback about our art courses.
Answers below correspond to both Drawing Academy and Web Art Academy courses.
As a student, you will have a lifetime membership. 3 months refer to three installments, not to the duration of courses. You can take as much time as you need to complete the curriculum. There are no deadlines, no time pressure. You can study at your own pace.
You will also have an unlimited personal support from academy tutors. This support is also provided for a lifetime at no extra charge. Do you know any other art college or university that offers a lifetime membership and unlimited support for a one-time very low fee? We think you would agree that our courses are unique.
You can send all your art related questions and submit photos of your artworks for critique online or via email. Academy tutors will be happy to help. Usually, every student’s email is answered within 24 hours.
Because every student has different time available, we cannot insist on how much time to be spent every day. We can only recommend to draw and paint as often as you can. You may find this article about how to find time for drawing interesting:
