My name is Elisabeth Huneycutt.

I am currently working towards my BFA in Painting at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Winning this competition would mean a lot to me. I am currently working and commuting to school in order to make it through. If I were to get this award I would use the money to fund my art. I would love to create larger scale work, and the money would help me achieve that. The drawing I submitted for this competition is an oil pastel drawing inspired by the brushstrokes of Monet and Van Gogh.
