My name is Andrew Marcus and this is the story of my passion in my golden years. I had worked in health care and with my retirement I needed something to occupy my mind. After taking some local art classes I fell in love with art both viewing it and creating original art.
I try to draw every day if only for a few minutes. My ability to draw started from rudimentary skill and has gradually improved with Practice, but not to the degree I hoped for.
My challenges include not improving as rapidly as I would like. My goal in art is to aspire to paint and draw as good as the artists I see in the local gallery.
I have watched videos of the Drawing Academy on YouTube and have always been impressed with the videos. Money is tight now and having the membership would help greatly.
This a drawing of my great uncle and found this picture when doing genealogy research. This is in Graphite on watercolor paper.
