I am a retired Scientist who over the last decade have enjoyed drawing and painting as a passion.

Art is an essential part of daily life. If I am not practicing it, then I am thinking about it. One of the challenges is the difficulty in finishing pieces. I need to improve my skills in drawing, esp. The Drawing Academy seems to be an excellent resource to do just that.

I am on a fixed income with limited funds. I have provided a favorite drawing of mine. A while pastel on black ground portrait of my feline friend, Tyler.

I hope that this drawing demonstrates that my abilities are sufficiently developed to win.
