I started my art journey less than a year ago. I have always loved art but felt I had no talent for it. I have always wanted to learn how to draw. I would go to art museums and sigh and wish I could make art. Finally in 2020, I decided to have a look at skillshare and found a class “Drawing for Beginners”. The teacher really inspired me and I took two of her classes. I realized that art abs making art makes me happy. While I draw I am in my happy place, I feel a fire inside me and I took lots of free online classes. I draw every single day for hours. If I am not drawing, I feel like I am missing something in my life. I want to continue learning.
I love to draw people. I find that eyes are windows to the soul and they communicate things. I try to emphasize that in my art. I would love to win this competition to feel more confident about what I do and to keep learning techniques. I would love to show my art to the world. I hope people would vote for me and realize that it is never too late to follow your dreams.
