I’m an pretty mature 61 years old aeronautical engineer and bizdev manager.
Being Italian I’m soaked by art anytime and anywhereI move or even turn my head. Moreover I live in Rome and love art history without prejudices or conditioning.
I want to be able to draw and painting credibly anything I wish to evocate or is evocated in me by life and senses.
To draw and, now, paint better and better in an original and personal way (I have a pencil in my hand and I could draw potatoes since a was kess than one year old and portraied my granny recognizable at little more than 2).
Drawing Academy seems pretty good to this purpose, especially if I win, since I believe that teacher have a excellent curriculs. Most of them are Russian, thus academically extremely prepared and with cultural similarity with centuries traditional fine art as well as many point of contacts with Italian art in any form, at least up to Futurism/ Constructivism.
Just because I think that improving my art may allow me to produce more convincingly surprisizing outcomes and stories anyone may enjoy, like, decrypt and get puzzled from whatever the origin and cultural level outside trivial genres strict boundaries or rigid schools principles and phylosophies, but still within a track of universal and unifying complicity between people eithrt artists or observers, supporters or art “stakeholders”.
I would just submit a preparatory concept drawing fo a painting on Judith and Holophernes which a subtitle: Mee Too!
