Drawing has been a part of my life for 40 years. Now in retirement I can organize my days to include as much art making as I can.
I have always wanted to improve greatly at drawing but at the same time use my art to tell stories. To that end I know I must work to create wonderful figurative pieces.
The Drawing Academy courses are there to educate any artist about the methods of confidently portraying the figure.
Winning the course would be a great opportunity for me to improve my skills tenfold. And I hope that the viewers of my entry in this competition will enjoy my work enough to vote to give me a chance to get better.
