Waiting to Enhance My Art

I am a disabled veteran. I stopped working in 2004 and I started doing art again along with Volunteering at the VAMC and school because I did not want to sit around doing nothing everyday. I love doing art, but I realize that I need lessons to improve my work and I want to learn to paint.

I am not really able to afford the classes and I decided to enter the art competition to win courses. I understand that my work may not be as good as others, but I am proud of my efforts. In high school I stopped taking art class in the 12th grade because I felt that there were a number of students that did far better work than I did. That was in 1977. I am 59 and I really would like the opportunity to earn the lessons.
