It’s Time

I’ve been drawing on and off for so many year’s I can’t recall but have never learned how to “learn drawing”. That is until I taught myself the guitar and finally understood what it truly takes to learn and perfect an artistic skill.
I once asked a guitarist, “What’s the secret? Can you give me some pointers?” to which he replied, “How often do you practice?”. That was it, a light bulb went off, I was a slacker and did commit myself. From that point forward the guitar meant something totally different to me and now I enjoy creating sounds from what I hear in my head.
This is what artistry is all about and what it will take to become an artist in classical drawing. Like I said, “It’s Time”.
