My name is Natalia Samarina, a Fine Art Artist based in West Sussex, UK. Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I found joy in drawing, sewing, cooking, and inventing new things. Creativity has always been the language through which I understood the world.
During a time when life seemed to stand still, art became my anchor and my rediscovery. What began as a simple exploration of online drawing courses quickly grew into a deep passion that guides me every day. My artistic journey has led me through many techniques and subjects, each one opening new door of curiosity and expression.
Nature is my greatest inspiration. Its harmony, wisdom, and quiet perfection remind me of our profound unity with the world around us. Through my paintings, I aim to reflect this connection. For me, art is a bridge: a way to celebrate beauty, to elevate our surroundings, and to inspire a deeper appreciation for life itself. While I started with flowers and landscape compositions, I have now drowned in portrait painting and really fascinated to discover this side of creativity.
I believe the Drawing Academy offers something truly exceptional – classical foundations taught with clarity, depth, and respect for traditional craftsmanship. These are skills I value deeply and wish to strengthen. I want to refine my drawing abilities, expand my artistic vocabulary, and grow with guidance that will help me create more confidently and authentically.
Winning this course would be a meaningful step in my artistic evolution. It would give me the knowledge and discipline to express my ideas with greater precision and emotional impact.
