Hello,
My name is Andy. Ever since I was a little child I have enjoyed drawing and coloring. Every afternoon I would watch cartoons while practicing how to learn to draw them. After high school I started taking a traditional animation course where I was introduced to architectural drawing. Due to the limited educational options available in my home country, I attended a school for Graphic Design whereI took one or two classes about life drawing. In 2014, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a drawing atelier in Philadelphia, where I started learning how to draw from life. Unfortunately, after one year I wasn’t able to continue with my studies.
Nowadays, I try practicing drawing in my free time and follow instructional videos online or books available at my local library, but I keep feeling that I can copy what I see, but I cannot really draw. That’s when I saw the videos available at the Drawing Academy Youtube channel and their curriculum, I realized that they provide just what I have been missing; learning how to really draw and construct everything, let it be from life or from my imagination. With this drawing course I will be able to learn new techniques and knowledge so I can become proficient at two of my two passions, still life and architectural drawing, and hopefully one day be able to fulfil my dream of creating artistic masterpieces for a living, so please vote for me using the buttons below.
