Finding Beauty in the Inescapable

My Quest was inspired by a t-shirt…Someone else’s random t-shirt which I only happen to look upon as I averted my eyes from Walmart’s bra aisle. Actually, it wasn’t the t-shirt itself, but the words on it: ‘Let’s Carpe Some Diem!’ Most people wouldn’t understand it; but it wasn’t greek to me. It was latin. And I was a homeschooler.

What it meant literally was, Let’s seize some day, but what it meant to me was, Let’s take advantage of every minute, grasp today, use it for all it’s worth, wring it out, suck up every last drop. Yes. Let’s Carpe Some Diem.

The message was so captivating I read those words again, and again, and- only to be interrupted by a less-than-friendly-glare from the girl wearing the shirt. She had entirely mis-judged my actions: I was receiving inspiration and formulating a life goal. It’s hard being a young white male in America.

This course is my next prospective morsel, both nourishing and delicious. Please vote for me, only you can help me Carpe my Diem.
