Charcoal
I have no social media, so that’s a bit of a disadvantage. Art is the great love of my life.
I love Charcoal; I like the way it arrives on the surface, I like the surprises it can deliver and the way it will disappear if you need it to. I like that it is fluid and dense at the same time. When it meets wax something great can happen, it is full of happy accidents and can deliver contrast like nothing else can.
I also paint (colour is a bit scary) but I feel like I am wearing gloves when I pick up a brush; I would like to gain more ease with oils.
