DOT ART
Drawing by Greg Lumberjack sr.
Greg Lumberjack, born in Rose Valley Sask. in 1966. I moved to Regina in the early 70s..and have lived here most of my life. My art interest didn’t come to life until I got a pencil in my hand and made little sketches of animals, cars and other scenes.
Doodling was a favorite pastime and i did a lot in school, my friends liked my drawing and told me I was pretty good artist. It wasn’t until I was 25 yrs old when I was approached by a gallery in Calgary Alberta, where I was living at the time. They asked for one of my pictures to be displayed in their gallery. This was the Triangle Gallery of Visual Arts, and my work was displayed along with the work of other artist, very proud time for me.
I took a long break from art to raise my kids, (4) and now that they are all in high school and I have lots more free time, I also started doing a form of art called pointillism with colored ink (dot art) in the last 5 yrs this was the way I created pictures and I have done a few. Most with some type of native scenery or image added. I came across the Drawing Academy in my Facebook page and signed up, I am hopeful people out there like my work as much as I like to make it. I am available to answer any questions to any interested people, thank you. I have uploaded one of my latest pictures I have done; this is a 12×17. The artwork does not have a name but the image is a nebula and got the idea from looking at images of the carina nebula. The art I have sent is a hunting scene, riders on horseback with bow and spear, also other images are kind of hidden but made so a person looking for them can find. (maybe) If you like this artwork please vote and I thank you in advance, thanks!
I really love the work you submitted man.
