Memoirs

I am Samruddha Purekar from India.

I have completed my Masters in Visual Arts, Portraiture. Art for me is a way and means of living. I believe that art exists within and around us, it doesn’t have to be superficial.

I feel its best explained through painting than through words and it takes a while to develop a technique unique to its own style but the learning process is never ending as knowledge itself is a vast ocean.

The more you know, the more sublime it gets. Subjects or mediums keep on changing as I believe in experimenting and trying new things rather than being stuck in one style or medium for fame and money. I want to learn more about figure drawing and drawing from life.

Drawing Academy is a wonderful platform to showcase your art to the world as well as learn from new talents worldwide.

Winning the course will help me in understanding the subject better.

People can decide whether I am worthy or not as I believe in working honestly and in a proper disciplined approach.
