Painting has always been the way in which I express myself; show the world what I see and what I feel. Oddly, I feel more at ease expressing the deepest layer of my thoughts through paintings than through words. As an artist from India and being a true wanderlust at heart, I have had the pleasure to meet and interact with many people with differing thoughts, opinions, beliefs and faith. It is this exposure coupled with my own thoughts and ideas that I express through colors in my paintings.

Never overlook the eternal smile of a leaf. Each vein of the leaf is a magic in itself, indicating the immortality of God’s creativity

I’ve tried to capture this in the best way I could through this intricately detailed artwork. This painting was done over a span of two months to portray each vein of the leaf to perfection.

Akhdir series intends to acknowledge and offer the tributes and celebrate the Mother nature. For its immense bounty and copiousness that the nature gifts us, this series acknowledges, respects and recognises appropriately.
