Orchid leaves

I never gave art much of a chance, always thinking I never had the real talent. Only recently I fell in love with drawing. I am a psychologist, unemployed for now and spent my time enjoying drawing learning and expressing myself.

My challenges are the less than basic knowledge in art history, the shading, lighting, perspective, human figures, painting. What is left you will wonder? I had some practice on rendering because I had a year course in byzantine iconography.

I want to learn the correct way of drawing, the classical method so I can respect art as much as I can. I believe The Drawing Academy has all this to offer and more.

I would like to win this challenge even though I am sure everyone here shares the same love and passion for art as I do and deserve it just the same. I wish good luck to everyone, what’s in the stars already is.
