My progress

I have been working hard and there is some struggle.

The good news is that I understand more and more about the concepts of preparing the drawing by setting boundaries, measuring, getting the proportions before launching onto creating the image. I am a kind of impulsive person and I would always just start and let the pencil go. I am seeing that with the rules of the portrait there is an ease of execution that comes after that, and it relieve quite a bit of stress in the midst of the drawing and reduces the amount of erasing I used to do.

Here’s my very first portrait. My friends asked me and I was happy to give it a shot…
