Cherished Memories

I am 57 years old and live aboard with my husband on a sailboat.

I am blessed with the opportunity to travel to many countries, and meet interesting people from many different cultures, traditions and lifestyles.

I’m not a great writer but, I keep a journal and write about the places I visit and my experiences with the local people I meet along the way.

Along with writing I like to incorporate photos or drawings (I would say dabbles) to correlate with the stories I write about the places and people in my journal.

I enjoy drawing. I’m self taught but need a lot of help. Getting tips from YouTube and reading “How To Do” doesn’t provide the fundamentals skills required to acquire good drawings skills.

Drawing Academy provides the fundamental foundation skills that have been used from the master artist has proven to display drawings as realistic.

I know with the techniques the masters teach will allow me to improve my drawing skills and understand the fundamental of drawing.

I need this course to be able to express myself and my thoughts through drawing to make the drawing or painting more vivid and capture the emotions to convey on paper or canvas.

Having the privilege to learn skills of traditional art and mastering the techniques from the masters would be a honor. And the fundamental of such teaching will provide me a well knowledge of drawing and skill to be able to draw what I see or my thoughts.

My Eyes have seen many beautiful places and people, but also seen sadness and I don’t know how to display what I see in my drawings, or the beauty of the places I visited onto paper or a canvas. The drawing displayed above is from a still photo taken many years ago. I chose this photo to draw because they were special people whom I met and have impacted my life while they where here on earth. Seth, a toddler died in a car accident at 3 years old, several years later his dad Johnny passed away. This is how I remember them.

I am a hard worker and fast learner and would love to share my art work with friends and family.
