Artist Starving For Attention and Recognition

I’m a 40+ year old artist who is looking for ways to improve and learn how to promote my work. There have been many instances in my life growing up where I had an opportunity to sell my work with those chances becoming lingering disappointments.

I’m hoping with these courses I can gain valuable knowledge as well as a foothold into the market and finally make my first sale. One of my main challenges in art is perspective. The very concept of it from start to finish baffles me and I always find it hard to get started when it comes to drawing a simple building landscape.

What I like about Drawing Academy is the fact it invites different types of styles of art and helps the individual to improve and open up possibilities of making their artistic abilities public; possibly popular. For this reason I would like your vote.

The submitted portrait is of my eldest sister: Veronica. This is something I did for her as a birthday present.
